Gentry demands state house, senate obey own rules, hear judicial reform remonstrance

John Gentry argues Thursday for his petition for writ of mandamus to appellate court judges, demanding that the court order the state senate and house to obey their own rules and hear his address and his remonstrance, and also stop publishing a legally defective and erroneous copy of the state constitution that deletes a constitutional right in the bill of rights. The Bill Lee administration is refusing to fix the error on the published copy of the constitution, and the attorney general’s office’s Janet Kleinfelter committed breaches of attorney ethical codes in fighting off the reformer’s project, Mr. Gentry says. The hearing was live on Zoom in an important precedent in the push for open courts.
